How we can help

Care that fits the person, not just the schedule.

Every service begins with a conversation about needs, risks, routines and the treating team’s instructions.

Elderly & frail care

Respectful daily support, companionship, mobility assistance and carefully documented routines.

Post-discharge support

A coordinated transition home, following the care plan supplied by the treating team.

Condition support

Structured observations and escalation for chronic illness, recovery, dementia and palliative care.

Practical continuity

The small tasks that keep a care plan moving.

Medication management

Reminders, logged doses and script follow-up—according to the treating team’s plan, not a changed one.

Medical errands

Pharmacy collections, clinic trips and supply runs so treatment does not stall between visits.

Wound care

Dressing support and skin checks as written by the treating team, with reporting and escalation when the wound changes.

All three follow the treating team’s instructions. Carers record and escalate; they do not diagnose, prescribe or silently change treatment.

For families

Stay informed without losing the human connection.

See scheduled visits, approved progress summaries and important updates through consent-controlled family access.

Patient information is never displayed as a public preview. Access requires an authorised account created by SKA Homecare.

Clinical boundaries matter

Observations are recorded. Concerns are escalated.

The platform supports documentation and coordination. It does not diagnose, prescribe, replace a clinician or silently change treatment.

Our founder

A carer at heart, rooted in purpose.

Sharon Kudakwashe Ardoin-Harris (née Chatambudza) founded SKA Homecare from a deep belief in compassionate service: walking with people in vulnerable moments and reminding them that they are not alone.

As an African woman building a care business from the ground up, her journey brings together caregiving, entrepreneurship, faith, motherhood, leadership and resilience. Her approach combines respectful daily support, clear documentation, family communication and appropriate clinical escalation.

“We are not just living days, we are creating memories that will outlive us.”

— Sharon Chatambudza-Ardoin

Her continuing story explores purposeful living, lessons from care, the families who place their trust in SKA, and the legacy created through everyday acts of dignity and love.

Safety by design

Private care records stay separate from the public website.

Access is limited by patient, role, consent and purpose. Family relationships do not automatically grant full clinical access.

Patient-specific access

Care-team assignments and family permissions control what each person may see.

No silent rewriting

Corrections are added with a reason while the original signed record remains visible.

Built for low connectivity

Visit work is designed to save safely and show when synchronisation is still pending.

Attendance, not surveillance

Location is requested only at arrival or departure—not as continuous staff tracking.
